Allumera® Wrinkle Treatment
One of the newest photodynamic cosmetic (PDC) procedures, Allumera® is a non-invasive, light-activated topical cream that can work wonders on your skin. It has been clinically proven to:
- Improve skin firmness
- Improve skin texture
- Minimize the appearance of pores
- Revitalize skin to create a younger-looking, clearer complexion
- Reduce fine lines and crow’s feet
Patients can receive significant skin repair and revitalization benefits without more invasive procedures or laser surgery. Dr. Ben Talei and the staff at Beverly Hills Center for Plastic & Laser Surgery are pleased to offer Allumera wrinkle treatment as a cosmetic option for our patients. Dr. Talei can determine if you are a candidate for Allumera treatment during a confidential consultation.
During your treatment, the Allumera cream is applied to your entire face and allowed to soak into your skin for about an hour while you relax. There is no burning or tingling sensation at all. Then the cream is removed, and your skin is exposed to intense light. You will wear eye protection during this portion of the treatment. Dr. Talei and his staff tailor the source of light and length of exposure according to your skincare needs and desired results. Your entire treatment should not last over 90 minutes.
Cosmetic Treatment for Acne, Wrinkles, Large Pores and Fine Lines
The ingredients contained in Allumera cream are activated to trigger cell regeneration with intense light. A typical Allumera treatment regimen at the Beverly Hills Center involves three treatments, spaced three weeks apart. Allumera is an exceptional treatment option for those needing more aggressive facial repairs and rejuvenation but not wanting to endure more aggressive procedures with longer downtime.
Patients who wish to know more about this non-invasive, skin-rejuvenating treatment should call the Beverly Hills Center for Plastic & Laser Surgery or schedule a consultation online. Dr. Talei and his staff can share more information and answer specific questions about whether or not Allumera is right for you.
